I’m Speaking at Your Own Way Conference!

Blogging has changed in so many ways since I launched my first ever site at 13 years old (thanks mom and dad). But on thing that has remained the same and has consistently been my favorite aspect of this industry is the incredible blogging community. And that’s why I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at the Your Own Way Conference in November, and community is 100% what got me there!

Kayla, the brains and sweat behind this incredible conference has been a long time blogging friend, since my early online beginnings. We’ve always had so much in common. We have quarterly video chats called meetings of the mind where we share what’s on our brains and hearts blogging and business wise. Kayla has motivated me, inspired and encouraged me through rebrands, major wins and some tougher times.

So when she shared her vision and intention to bring the amazing one-day, fully charitable conference to life, I was so proud of her. And now, I’m even more excited to say that I will have a chance to take part in her passion project.

Yes, blogging has changed, but this community is still powerful and wonderful and incredibly inspiring.

Now, a bit about this amazing conference. Did I mention it’s 100% charitable. Yes, attendees will spend the day learning and being encouraged to trail blaze in their businesses and bring their side hustles to life and when it’s all said and done, we’ll have done some major good. All of the proceeds will go to sex trafficking survivors in the Minneapolis area.

The charitable aspect of this project was incredibly important to Kayla when she first told me her plans for Your Own Way, and it makes me even more proud to be participating.

You can check out the full line up of speakers and panelist on the site. There are some really great creatives and business powerhouses in this line up.

I’d love to see you there!! Tickets are officially on sale today!
