Sunday Morning Coffee // No. 111

I don’t know if it was just my trip to Vegas or the amount of work I came back to, but this week was a rough one.

I’m really grateful for strong coffee, the best friends and comfy scarves that make freezing cold office buildings a bit more bearable.

Also, for sweet comments that you guys leave on the blog, on videos and on photos that make my day. Seriously. I was having a really hard time, woke up to the sweetest comment on one of my YouTube videos and instantly shifted my mood. Remembering that there are people out there who really appreciate the things you produce is like a natural endorphin. Endorphins make you happy, and happy people just don’t kill their husbands (five points if you name that movie in the comments).

Anyway, I’m hoping this week involves a lot more sleep, a much better handle on deadlines and….did I already say more sleep?

How was your week?

  1. LEGALLY BLONDE. // Cosy sweaters and cashmere layers have been keeping me toasty <3 // I just finished my first week of the semester, and I'm trying to figure out how to balance school and blogging. I've been pretty inactive in the blogosphere for the last few weeks ): But life has been good and I've been seeing friends back from break, and I've been getting sleep, so what more can I ask for? 😛 // Wishing you a better week ahead! <3 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    • YOU WIN the movie reference game! I hope this semester goes well for you! I know how hard it can be to balance school and anything, so be patient with yourself and you’ll get there!

  2. I had a rough week, too. May this one be better for both of us! Thanks, as always, for a roundup of some great reads.

  3. I also had a rough week! Overall I’ve had a rough start to the year but it’s never too late to turn it around! Also feeling thankful for best friends and great coffee along with great books to escape with here and there!
