Sunday Morning Coffee // No. 69

32716Happy Sunday, and happy Easter to everyone celebrating today.

After a weekend of great weather and the forecast ahead, it’s finally starting to feel like Spring is here to stay. Which means I need to kick Spring cleaning in the apartment into full swing. I won’t mention when the last time I did laundry was (mainly because it was so long ago I don’t remember). I need to swap out some thick sweaters for lighter cardigans and dresses.

Oh, and also go shoe shopping! Goodbye boots, hello sandals and flats.

Now if only my motivation to clean would kick over to my motivation to get to the gym…

  1. Blogging isn’t dying, we’re just finding new ways to do it – I see tons of people using Instagram as a blog, super long messages attached to photos and all. Actually blogging, online, with a URL that’s not Instagram (ha!) isn’t really dying either, I think people are just pickier about what they take in – simply because there is so much to choose from, be it blogs or YouTube or Facebook or Reddit or Instagram…the list goes on and on. For example, when Twitter first started making the rounds, and people were calling it “mico-blogging” – Instagram is the same. It’s an odd thing to think about, but nothing is dying, just changing.

    • I totally agree with you! Spot on. If anything, in many ways these new social media forms are allowing us to enhance our blogs and extend them beyond one platform – which is awesome!

  2. The question about whether or not blogging is dying really depresses me. I feel like people have been asking it for awhile, though, & blogging is still going, if not necessarily going strong, so I’m trying to stay optimistic about its future!

    • I think blogging has a bright future ahead, a changing one for sure, but still bright!
